Effective October 14, 2026. This policy covers the SyntaxPad website and its browser-based tools.
Your input and output
The tools process pasted text and opened files locally in your browser. They do not send those contents to a SyntaxPad processing server. We do not maintain input histories, accounts or cloud-saved results. Input remains in the current page’s memory until you clear it or leave. Browser session restoration and extensions are controlled by your browser, not by this website.
Clipboard and downloads
Copying writes the result to your device’s clipboard when you request it. Downloading creates a local file through your browser. The downloaded file and clipboard may be accessible to other applications or people using your device. Clearing the page does not delete a previously downloaded file.
Hosting requests
Cloudflare Pages serves the site. Visiting a page necessarily sends network information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers to the hosting provider. Cloudflare may process this information for delivery, security and operational purposes under its privacy policy. Do not put sensitive input into page URLs.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This release does not add advertising scripts, a user analytics SDK or application cookies. Hosting security features may operate separately. If we introduce advertising or analytics, we will update this policy and implement consent controls where required before enabling the relevant integration.
If you contact us, your email address and message are received through our email provider and used to respond and investigate the issue. Please use fictional samples instead of private datasets. Contact us if you want a message deleted, subject to legitimate retention requirements.
